Omiro

Most apps make you decide what a thought is before saving it. Omiro just captures it.

Omiro on iPhone: a chat conversation, a note being edited, and the Tasks tab.

The Problem

Most productivity tools force you to choose a structure — task, note, event — before you know what you're trying to say. That friction is especially costly for neurodivergent minds, where a slow capture flow means the thought is gone before it's saved. Omiro's one hard rule: capture can never be slower than the native Notes app.

The Solution

A capture-first iOS app built for neurodivergent knowledge workers — every thought starts as a note, then becomes a task, a chat, or connected context, without slowing down to classify it first.

What it does

  • Capture a thought in one tap — notes, tasks, and chats all start from the same composer
  • Turn a note into a task or a reasoned conversation without losing the original capture
  • Keep working offline with a local-first architecture
  • Built for neurodivergent minds

What took work

  • Reconciling offline writes without losing user changes
  • Keeping capture faster than iOS Notes while still classifying content in the background
  • Modeling open-ended note-to-task-to-chat relationships without an unbounded schema

ThamesWalks are for thinking out loud. Thames listens, thinks, and answers out loud, from your iPhone or your wrist.
